MSP Practitioner level builds on and expands the knowledge and experience delegates gained at MSP Foundation level.

Course duration:
This is a two day course. The exam takes place on the second day.

Pre-requisites:
Delegates are required to have project management or project board experience and to have passed the MSP Foundation exam. Delegates are expected to spend time before the course reading through the pre-course materials.
Course Outline:
The emphasis at Practitioner Level is on the application of MSP principles and practices in the real world. The exam takes place on the second day. The course is conducted through interactive group study using practical examples and activities.
- Application of MSP - The topics covered at Foundation Level are reviewed and using case studies, delegates are given an understanding of how MSP is applied and how it can be tailored to the project environment.
- Exam Preparation – Review of a case study and time to prepare for the exam.
- Evening Study – delegates are expected to spend time reading and reviewing course materials each evening throughout the course. This extra study is necessary to pass the exam.
Exam details:
A 150 minute exam is taken on day two of the course. It consists of 9 questions worth 20 marks each (total = 180 marks). Questions are based on a given scenario and the pass mark is 50%. This is a closed book exam i.e. entrants may not refer to any course materials or their own notes.
