About Us

Who we are:

Best Practice Training is an independent provider of project management and IT service management training courses. Since our formation in 2011, we have successfully delivered training courses to both the public and private sectors throughout the UK and internationally.

What makes us different?

We pride ourselves on delivering training courses of the highest quality. We use interactive training materials to ensure a hands-on approach for all delegates. Courses have typically less than ten delegates to ensure that all delegates have the chance to participate and ask questions thereby maximising their learning experience.

Expertise:

Our team of expert trainers are not only accredited to teach our courses but have years of real world project management and service management experience. This means they can bring the theory to life by using real life examples of problems and how techniques are implemented.

Results:

We have a proven track record and fantastic pass rates:

  • 98% PRINCE2 Foundation (Jan 2015 to April 2016) (industry average = 98%)*
  • 79% PRINCE2 Practitioner (Jan 2015 to April 2016) (industry average = 76%)*
  • 92% ITIL Foundation (Jan 2015 to April 2016) (industry average = 92%)*

Client testimonials:

"Following the introduction of a new Service Desk operating system we needed to roll out ITIL across the company. We have used Best Practice Training for many years for classroom based ITIL Foundation courses and but found that on this occasion we need a little more flexibility. Best Practice Training suggested a blended approach, this proved to be very successful and we are now continuing to use this method as part of our induction process."

Alistair Gibson, Senior Operations Manager, Taylor Made Computer Solutions Ltd, May 2013

"Thank you for the ITIL Training last week. The course was delivered excellently and, with all the class engagement, it kept what could have been a heavy going course light and entertaining. From our point of view it was nice to see people outside of IS on the course and get their views on IS and IT."

James, ITIL delegate, March 2013

"Very useful course, I feel this will help me converse with Project Managers more effectively and better understand the inner workings of various projects. The tutor was clear, concise and was able to answer all of my questions without any problems. He was also able to throw in real world examples to reinforce the material which helped with my understanding of PRINCE2."

Alan, PRINCE2 delegate, December 2013
